La bellezza intrinseca di questo grande appartamento sta nella quantità dei suoi difetti che, giustamente ripresi ed evidenziati hanno messo a nudo una struttura emozionante, molto articolata ed affascinante. Questa abitazione è la fusione di tre case diverse, sono stati eliminati tutti i tramezzi interni per poter abbracciare con lo sguardo l’incredibile susseguirsi di tetti e di incroci di pareti sempre diverse in modo da eliminare lunghi corridoi e piccole stanze. Anche nei pavimenti ritroviamo lo stesso spirito eterogeneo: legno intarsiato nel salotto, cemento al quarzo grigio per la cucina e il corridoio, cemento bianco cerato per il bagno ed infine abete chiodato per le camere. Sull’ enorme parete in calcestruzzo armato, unico elemento portante verticale e riportato alla luce, si staglia un bellissimo caminetto sospeso. La grande stanza immersa nel colore miele dell’ambiente si affaccia su una terrazza a vasca che grazie ad un’ampia vetrata diventa una sorta di giardino d’inverno e ospita una seconda cucina per grigliate estive.
